I think it would be a bit harsh to drop Nero, but imo both him and Sykes were dire in defence, but at least Sykes looked a little better in attack.

You can't reall complain about Reardon or Sheriffe as they hardly got a sniff of the ball on their own wing and they continued to do hard work early in the tackle count.

Yep. PLayed there loadsa times. Faster and stronger and more experience than Crookes.

I'd like to see that sort of team then, and I'd like to see Crookes get a shot aswell, but it won't happen till we are wallowing in the bottom 4-5 after the first 10-15 rounds.

Gotta be one of the worst centres ever. No pace, no agility and cant pass.
Hape didnt have a load of pace, but he could step on the outside of his man, draw the winger and release Les.

Reardon started as a centre at west bowling, i think would do a good job there. Dont know why some are slating him today, did'nt get a pass all day.

Got to change, Kearney is not a 6. Halley gives 100% but does not add anything to the attack. Move Kearney to fullback, put Sykes at 6, he turned our season around last year when he played 6. Bring Crookes into centre, or move Menzies to centre and go with both Whithead and Donaldson in the pack

Kearney - can attack from fullback
Sheriffe - still weak link but no other option
Nero - needs to buck up
Menzies - needs to run out wide
Halley - good pace / needs someone like Menzies inside
Sykes - looks far more comfortable at S/O
Orford - will come good
Hall - needs to start to 'enforce'
Godwin - confidence builder against old side
Lynch - needs to have a 'captains knock'
Donaldson - solid / done nothing wrong to get dropped
Whitehead - solid
Langley - needs to learn to pass!

Sculthorpe (if fit) - will bring some 'angry' but needs to control it
Scruton - great impact player
Addy - needs his chance and why not?
L'Estrange - needs a kick up the a**e
