| Get in, well done Chisholm! We need to cut out penalties and mistakes 2nd half.

| There was always a danger of a hangover rather than a reaction. Looks like we've dragged ourselves back into contention at least.
C'mon rovers... Please!

| Awful start to 2nd half, we need a leader to help cut errors and penalties.

| Thank f for that! We looked nervous, way too many errors, but great result. Dixon MoM for me, Donaldson was excellent as well. Blair was awful with ball in hand, rest played OK.

| I know the standard isn't the highest and we've had some scrapes, but to go 4-0 in this series without TC and AK... Well it is a relief, if nowt else!

| Since I've read a lot of comments on fb/twitter giving Dixon stick and saying he should have been dropped, I would like to point out that Cockayne (who I have nothing against btw) would not have scored either try Dixon scored. He doesn't have the pace needed for the first or the elusive running and finishing skills needed for the second.
He's gonna make mistakes but in attack he offers something that nobody else in the team can do, he has to play. Maybe we revert him to the wing instead of Fullback for the remainder of the season before making a decision pre season on his position. On that note, Sio had a great game today, I thought he was excellent!
Our halves were poor for me. Didn't carve Wakefield up at all and with amount of ball we had in good positions, we should have scored a lot more points and killed the game dead instead of keeping Wakey interested

| For a while it was like watching the recent Halifax game again.
First 25 minutes we were DIRE.
Our starting front row were bloody awful. Walker was ponderous and predictable. Lunt repeatedly chose the wrong option in his opening stint . Allgood was an unfit, slow, penalty machine who was flappy in the tackle and had zero line speed. Allgood's second spell was no better. I've seen Tilse take some stick on here, but he hasn't put in a shift as crap as Allgood and Walker did today so I would hope to see some redress and perspective going forward from my fellow forumsters in support of Tilse.
The game changed when our bench came on. 2 X JG were both very good at prop, Boudebza was urgent and direct and my MOM again and Donaldson ran him a close second. Really happy for Kieran Dixon as well. He has stepped out on his path to redemption. Sio also good at fullback. Chisholm average, Marsh anonymous.
All in all very scratchy and tough on Wakey who deserved more. Still a win is a win and I'm happy and my blood pressure is finally back to normal.
4 from 4. In this form, how is this possible?

| I thought Donaldson was average today he's never going to break the line but his tackling usually makes up for it but today he was getting knocked off in the tackle all the time he's to small

Agree with almost all,why donaldson dosn't get more game time I dont know,as you say him and boudebza quickened it up.Ive seen marsh three times now and iam afraid not quite good enough, and greg burke is a waste of a shirt imo.Good result tired performance.

Sorry Frankie but really got to disagree here, mate.
Donaldson and Boudebza in the last 3 games (Wembley included) have given us 2 key elements, namely speed and urgency.
Donno like today often does get knocked over, but always gets up quick for a fast ptb. He is the quickest of all our forwards in this regard. He breaks the line too. He and French John have the best tackle technique. Go low and take their legs. I always feel we are playing at the right tempo as a team, when these guys are on the pitch.
