I agree with your comment regarding some people not getting into the atmosphere and singing with the masses on the terraces.
I Know where I stand in the East stand that most are very vociferous and really get behind the team, but there are also quite a few that sometimes make me wonder if they have any emotions at all.
These are the ones that no matter what the occasion or how good the atmosphere is in the ground, refuse to get involved, they just stand there very quiet and emotionless, like cardboard cut outs.
I stand not far away from where a large group in the middle top of east stand try every week to get the east stand going with an array of songs and chants most of which are very innovative and catchy, I hope they keep it up as it what makes the east stand what it is, unique imo, just as it was at the old Craven Park Holderness road in the eighties, plus dare I say...as was the old Threepenny Stand at the old Boulevard.
