With Salford, Widnes & FC all losing, the battle for 8th would appear to be alive & kicking. Indeed, lets throw Wire in there for good measure, so 7th & 8th are up for grabs.

It's gonna come down to the derby provided we take points from the Salford games.

After it being an horrendous May/June with poor results and bad injuries, there is a lot more optimism and light at the end of the tunnel.
As Stan says win the Salford matches and it become a 3 way split for two places. And a potential challenge cup semi. Not looking so bad now is it!

The dark side played cackamallabab today apparently. Radio Humberside and 5 Live both said Leeds were poor, but Hull even worse. Mistake ridden and lacking composure. A turgid game. Remember I'm only the messenger here!

The loss has come at a cost too with Minichello gone for 4 weeks minimum with a torn calf muscle and Sneyd facing a minimum 3 to 4 match ban, possibly longer, for a deliberate ankle twist on McGuire resulting in an ankle break. Ellis and Pryce carrying knocks also.

If Sneyd does get a ban the CC game next week will give Leeds an incentive for some extra aggro towards them.

Some good tries in the Hull at Leeds game. Jordan Thompson's one had some very unLeeds like defending - bizarrely apathetic.

Off a couple of wins and with a few forwards back, it all feels a bit more hopeful.

Not outraged just slightly bemused that some of your fans are saying it was either not that bad or self inflicted by mcguire. McDermott thinks it's a possible break and if it is its a real shame and could potentially end his season if not his career.
