Make or break this year. He's done little since that purple patch 3 years ago. Plenty of competition for spots now, as Whiting will discover.

If we are to have Talanoa on the left wing, we really need the speed of Michaels or Logan at Centre.

Should have been released when his last contract was up, he's clearly lost his pace and his notoriously bad passing ability means he can't adapt his game. As a club we are far too sentimental when it comes to long serving players, the top clubs see signs of decline in their players and move them on (or in rare cases change a players position to suit their game)

I think he'd make a great hooker then.



He's been on borrowed time for years. The only trouble is not one player has stepped upto the plate to challenge him. Hopefully this year he will up his game or will have to make do with squad place.

I've long held the belief that a testimonial absolutely screws up a player. During Yeaman's testimonial year, he was gash. Same for Horne and actually for Whiting who had his worst year since signing.

I very rarely gamble, think it's rubbish. But I had a feeling Yeamo would be top try scorer in SL that year and had £10 on. Was winning comfortably until he got injured late on and pipped by McGuire. Annoying.

I think it is fair to say, Yeaman has not played outside a decent 6/7 since the Paul Cooke days. He has been criticised for years about the lines he runs and that he cant break the line. IMO opinion, if he stays fit and healthy and playing outside Sneyd and Price we could see a whole different player this season. He needs decent service, and he needs to be given space to play and I cant remember the last time he got that. There is now genuine competition for places in the squad, and to add to that 2 decent playing halfbacks I'd like to think he will recapture some good form.
