| Comparing our squad to the others in SL whilst considering the new league structure in 2015, what results do people feel the team need to achieve in order for them to have reached their potential? I feel the team need to finish in the top 4 of SL and make either one of the finals in order to say they have reached their potential. Is that a bit harsh do you think?

| Very harsh.
Top 4 is a massive ask as i think it will be a tough season and really depends on how well the half backs gel.
Love to be proved wrong though!

If the team realise their potential, where do you think they should finish then?

Top 8 although i don't like trying to calculate such things.
But top 8 would be an improvement on last season.
And there are so many other factors to take into account.
Not least how much other teams have strengthened.
All i ask is for a team fully committed and giving 100% every week.

| The top 6 is looking pretty unbreakable to me, so if you finish 7th it sounds like you will be disappointed, along with AP. Be tough to finish in the 8 this year.

It's far from "unbreakable." I reckon Warrington, Wigan and Saints are shoe ins for top 4. The rest is up for grabs imo. Leeds are in decline, Hudds are nothing special, Catalans look good but are poor away. I predict 7th, but with a good start and a bit of luck there's no reason we can't do better than that.

| I reckon Catalan will be pushing for a top spot this season, if Todd Carney stays fit and doesn't go of the rails, Catalan I think will be the team to beat along with Warrington, Im hoping Wigan get found out a bit next season, and the refs put a stop to to much wrestling in the ruck, they'll struggle if they do, saints will go well as usual. I think realistically we need to be aiming for 5,6 spot, we have to be, otherwise what was the point of last years e.

I still thinks Leeds have quality all over the park plus with players like Sutcliffe waiting in the wings, they are still seriously strong.
Shudds had a lot of injuries to key players last season for long periods, more of the same and they could slip down a bit but outside the top 6/7 I doubt.
Catalan have added quality, plus pack leader Casty is back, should have no problems making the top 8 and for me will finish in the top 6.
So there is your 4th, 5th and 6th for me. Can Rovers break into that, at the mo, no. Add in another good prop and quality hooker, then I'm hopeful.

| I think we could break the top 6, Cas did it last year and there squad wasn't amazing. Top 4 is a no chance for me,
Really hard to predict for us and I wouldn't be surprised if we finished anywhere from 6th-10th.

| I don't think there has ever been a final league table where the standings are in the same club order as their quality 'on-paper', if you get me(?). Things happen - even the very best of teams can lose form/confidence, be decimated by injuries, or have other distractions going on. There's always a couple of surprises basically. Then there's what Cas did last year, nobody expected that.
Looking through the squads, there isn't a weak side in the competition. Consistency is key for FC, we proved when we're playing well we can mix it with the top teams, it's just those games are too infrequent.
Being in the Top 8 after 23 rounds is the very minimum for us, hard to predict where we'll actualy end up.

| We need to be realistic here.
Top 8 would be a considerable improvement on last season. Its also probably everyone's (including AP's) mininum requirement.
A 6th place finish would mean real progress.
Lets not have any silly talk of top 4 please.

| I'm hoping we finish in the top 8 as not doing so has massive implications for the future of the club IMO. I think clubs who will definitely finish above us are
wigan
saints
wire
leeds
les cats
hudds
We're in the mix with
cas
rovers
salford
and possibly widnes although I'm far from convinced about them
For a top 8 finish
I don't think wakefield have a chance of the 8
A lot of it will depend on all teams keeping key players fit but we need to be performing near to the top of our capabilities from week one and I just don't think radford is capable of getting the team to do it.
I really hope I'm wrong but next season could be a disaster for us
