I know this has been mentioned before on this forum but does anyone agree with me that the p.a system is totally crap !!!
to me it just gets worse, you can never hear any of the announcements at all on Fridays game I could hardly hear everything clarky was saying before the game also during the game the interchanges that were made you couldn't hear them too
is it me going deaf in my old age or am I right ?

You are right its about time it was sorted.It was annoying that the tribute to Prekkie before the game couldnt be heard which was an insult to his memory.

exactly !! many times in the past when the club are paying tribute to people the p.a system has let us down, for example armed forces day, I couldn't hear what was being said, and like you say the tribute to Steve Prescott was very embarrassing to say the least, the club should sort this out !!

I'm sure it will be fixed in time for the football season, along with the leaks in the roof.

From memory, it's been like this since the stadium opened. In South Stand its inaudible. Couple this with Clarkey's awful fast-delivery and mumbling and you can't understand a word.

The SMC should be sorting things like this.

It's been fine until this season IMO.

They are have been made aware about it numerous times. Work was done on it last year by them iirc. City fans have complained too so its not just us. My problem on Friday night was the music was way too loud, it just came over as distorted. Another complaint will be put in this week to the SMC as far as I'm aware from Voices.

Voices is like the p.a system...useless

Its not just the the music was too loud the announcements are unintelligible too

let's be honest, without being disrespectful as some are friends, but Voices is just a token gesture, a few people who like to feel important by having a meeting now and again which changes nothing, lip service to the fans.

I sit in the East Stand and could hear every word without a problem.

Fine where I sit in the South. If anything the prematch music is far too loud.
