Only a friendly I know but was pleased with the attitude of our players, as interchanges were been made regular for both I thought he got ours spot on, still a lot to work on but we beat them so I'm pleased.

Only problem is, the team that's won the last two friendlies has gone on to only win one of the three league games. Hopefully that will change this year!

Safe to say it will be Rankin and Horne as our starting 6+7 . Thought paea and feka played well when on the pitch and Harry TW looked pretty good . The 28 for kr looked pretty handy for a young kid , is that berehall(sp) ?

Another season starts without a recognised Scrum Half in the team. Just puts far too much pressure on Horne.

You re correct, i said Miller was no good, but want him to prove me wrong so bad, only time will tell.

Looked decent mate , he's not gonna be Tom Briscoe but looks quite nifty for a big guy . He'll be going in my dream team

Thought there were quite a few positives today,bit more fitness work to be done on talanoa and I reckon he'll go ok for us.rankin looks comfortable taking on the line ,forwards went well,too many offloads by them for my liking but that can be sorted.Only concern for me was the lack of minutes for Feka ,hope he's not injured.

Good hit out, teams looked pretty well matched at the start when both sides had their senior players on. Then we put our kids out and Rovers got on top, then Rovers put their kids out, we put our first team back on and took control again. No surprises there.

I thought our pack was good. Paea, Feka and Ellis in particular looked really good. Bowden looked strong too. Rankin showed glimpses, Talanoa was strong in the tackle. All in all more positives than negatives.

Rankin looked really good today. Got a boot on him, quick of the mark and good D.
I dont understand why Miller didnt play with the first team at all. Looks like it will be Rankin and Horne against Cats looking at how we set out today. Hope Rankin and Miller get sometime together against Fev as Rankin and Horne are to much alike for me.

He's a unit looked solid enough and will only get better.

Thought the young guys did well in the last 15 minutes if the first half. Especially number 2 on the wing

Thought all the question mark players showed up well. Feka, Azza and Fezza all taken off as injury precautions.

Only disappointment was Miller, he seems to have regressed at the moment but its a long season and he has all the skills, he just needs to use them better.
