Has Super League ever seen such an over-hyped team who have won so little, or performed well so infrequently?

far too many players who believe they are Top4, international class players...when it reality our best players are the up and coming stars like Crooks and Lineham, and the old-workhorses who give their all like Horne & O'Meley.

There is only so much hype and PR statements the fans will take, and if we lose to Hudds and Catalan I think Gentle's in the next plane back to Sydney.

Perhaps the fact that they are so hyped up by yourselves, your management and themselves prior to round 1 of every year, has some bearing on this.

I honestly beleive we as a club are arrogant from top to bottom. Gentle never stopped bleating on about how good we was gonna be in the early season and the players seems like they think they can just turn up and all will fall beneath them and are looking very lazy.

Not sure Gentle is arrogant, I just think he is used to coaching a World Class group of players (Australia) on specific aspects of the game such as defence, for a few weeks/training camps a year...and that is a whole different ball game to coaching the full set of skills, tactics and people management at an average club, with average players that has underachieved for years.

pressure is most definitely on now...loud boos at the final whilstle, and Pearson has proven to be trigger-happy before.

Not sure he would have made a massive amount of difference, and that is no disrespect to Horney...Peter Sterling and Andrew Johns would have struggled behind that limp pack!

To be fair the media are as bad, beat leeds and wire and its top 4 and grand final contenders according to sky. Maybe leeds and wire had an off day, just need to look at the other performances to see what the 'real' Hull is

But there right. We DO perform alot better against the top sides. Everyone see's it.
