The occasion was destined to be Long's night. I was impressed by his work rate, he did his fair share graft in all areas. Last night was a clear demonstration of what the bloke is capable of and with some tubthumping forwards building a platform, I hope to see much more.

That try had the Saints of old written all over it. Longy's influence is immense in all areas.

Longy always has put his shift in in defence during his career. His tackle just on half time which together with Yeamo prevented them scoring was a big moment in the match for us. 12-0 and 12-6 are a world apart going in to the HT cuppa. That tackle alone was the reason I gave him MOM over Fitzy who was also awesome.
