Are people forgetting the club has a mortgage of 1.5 million to pay back to the council which we will not be able to pay it we are/do become a championship club ?
We currently have one he'll of an academy + pool of players, future players will not look at trinity if they become a championship club !
We operate as a club in 10th position, MC says.

I have tried to remain optimistic over the years for getting the stadium redeveloped, but this past 2 years it’s become apparent the developers are playing the long game, waiting For the club to disappear without having to pay what they owe the club. Trinity won’t be in top tier without ground improvement, and Cas could easily go the same way.

Wasn’t the last update that the club were trying to get meetings sorted to discuss the financial side with parties but those parties were ‘Unavailable’ for a period of months. They are doing exactly that. Playing underhand and dirty cards and seem to have little intention to even discuss let alone part with any amount towards the development of the east stand.

Despite all the forward movement on the Newmarket sure it seems we can’t even get a meeting sorted to discuss contributions.

I was optimistic initially because MC and JM seemed positive but that’s pretty much been eroded now and I’m in the cynical it’s not happening camp.

If it doesn’t happen then I fear that’s trinity’s long term future in peril.

A September start for demolishing the East Stand won't be happening as was hoped by the club.

at what point is every one going to understand until the council stop them building and make them honour the reduced project it will never happen

10 team SL would be horrific not even negotiating this one.

Which is why any future build at NM should have a pre commencement condition lodged against until the stand at BV is built/operational and the council need to be strong enough to enforce it. Will it happen? I'm not holding my breath, we've been had many times before, why is this time going to be any different.

If we want new facilities we have to find the resources elsewhere, and that isn't exactly an easy thing to do. Best we can hope for is to get in bed with football and use the grants available in that sport, but that has its own issues.
