Not as many people are going to drink on Monday as they're likely working on Tuesday so he loses loads of revenue from alcohol sales surely? I'd be very interested to know if anyone knows what the differences are for alcohol sales Monday vs Friday games.

I would also be interested if anyone has any idea what the real cost is of turning it around from Friday to Saturday for the football and whether it outweighs the cost of lost alcohol sales.

Personally I don't mind if we get a day moved to accommodate football as long as we are still at home that's fine.

We all knew it would be changed as soon as Latics were drawn at home that weekend, what angers me is why it has taken until two weeks before hand to change it should have been done straight off in June.

I agree it was unlikely but it's not the point. It's the rules it's like when someone looks at me it's highly unlikely I'm under 18 but i have to prove it if asked thems the rules.

Yeah but imagine the fuss had they moved it, sky picked it (maybe coz Salford were going for 8th) then it got changed again. Damage limitation.

The Tic/Chelski game has been scheduled for the Sunday for many weeks thus it been being on SKY, why now tell us that we now need to move the Friday Salford game??
