Just seen on Twitter than Ian Millward's son, Robbie, has passed away at the age of 19.
Just want to send my deepest condolences to the Millward family, at this saddest of times.

Just found out about it. Terribly sad.
Met Ian Millward a few months ago at the final Salford match and despite any misgivings I may have had on him as a coach, I found him a pretty nice guy to talk too. Can't imagine his loss. RIP.

RIP.
Millward never worked at Wigan clearly but I always have the upmost respect for him for the time he came in the South Bar after we had lost to Warrington to face dogs abuse. Not many other coaches would of done that. Deepest condolences.

Met him at a Sportsman's Dinner a few month's after he left Wigan and despite my reservations he actually came across as a decent guy and was a good laugh.
Deepest condolences to the family. No parent should ever have to bury their child.
