What stand was the netting in? Usually only in the North so don't see the issue there.

It was a training exercise apparently.

I suggested that. Let's face it, they could well be busy on Sunday with those two lots of fans

The police horses where there because 1 was a police horse in training.
The stewards were practicing for sunday as its Latics last home game and either west ham or latics can get relegated sunday and things could turn sour for either team

the stewards were getting everyones backs up! i could feel them staring & i cant even sit on my own boyfriends knee during half time! its like being back at school! he came over to me and said ive been told to ask you to sit in your own seat!

Our steward was superb he was shouting his head off at the quins players , funny bloke but i think he might get a slap on wrist for joining in haha

Surely have your training excersises during the rest of the Shatics matches!

No place for Police Horses in Rugby League and all this serves to do is make people edgy (particulary if for example you were a new fan tonight) thinking RL is like soccer!

This is one of the many reasons I want Latics to go down (and in all truth wont be happy until we have seen successive relegations).

Im sick of my town looking like a riots about to kick off every saturday with police horses and riot police around the stations and around the town just because some pathetic soccer match is going on that half the town couldnt care less about / im sick of not being able to go into town centre pubs for a short while after the FT of the wendyball because they aren't letting people in to keep soccer idiots out / sick of drinking from plastic glasses round town on matchdays etc.

It goes on and on! The sooner they get back to their natural position in league 2 with 2-3k crowds the better. Then the rest of the town can carry on with their lives without even the knowledge that a soccer game is taking place, and without the need to be affected by the idiots!

If you looked one of the riders had "horse under training" on the day glow jacket so I guess they brought it out to a nice well behaved rugby crowd as part of the training.



No idea. First time I have ever heard that about the stewards over the tannoy. Have they got a new toy?
