I hope to god we never have him commentating again... He's worse than French for getting names wrong! And, wtf is green and grold?

Hearing them cheer as we raised our game to average was embarrasing. The Aussies wouldn't have played like that in the second period had they not blown us away in the first half.

He was awful with the amount of times he got names wrong.

Brian Noble or Justin Morgan should commentate instead IMO.

Went to the match watched it live, Watched BBC recording when I got home, watched Sky highlights this morning the Sky commentary was a lot better than the BBC version Eddie Hemmings was a lot better without Stevo by his side

The BBC coverage was clearly done by Sky so I thought internationally they would have got the Sky coverage but in New Zealand and Australia they got John Kear as well.

Have to say though I do like Dave Woods.

At one point im sure England had 13 Westwoods on the field!

Dave has done well, a Wigan fan as well, went to school with him, played rugby together, we were both about 5 stone lighter, and watched Wigan with him in mid 80's. decent bloke.

Met John Kear on night of grand final in a lift at a Gatwick Hotel, he was a good bloke to chat to, and took my gentle ribbing in good style.
