I can't see many options for hooker and half backs if O'Brien, Sezer, Cogger and Gaskell are long term injuries. Russell is too lightweight, Sam Wood is not a stand off, can we bring anyone in on loan?

I said right at the start of the season we didn’t have cover at hooker. Our most decent academy hooker decided to quit the game - Now it’s biting us in the aris as our best fullback is being moved there and we are without a hooker and now a decent fullback.

then switch our best fullback to hooker. Should have played Edwards at hooker - he's stood in at Eels in the past, and we have plenty who can play 2nd row.

For what it's worth, Luke Yates played a little bit of hooker at Newcastle.
He played several short stints in reserve grade at hooker before getting a run as bench hooker in firstgrade, but was so bad they took him off after 5 minutes and never asked him to play hooker again.
I thought he wasn't too bad in reserve grade.

Just read that we are trying to offload Cunnngham and Ashworth to Leigh for Peteru and Peats.

That's good if true, Jack Ashworth was great for us @ Leigh in the 2019 season, albeit in the championship.

You aren't missing anything, im not sure he is even championship standard, never seen a player have less impact, the only thing i have really noticed him doing is pass from dummy half, that's about his game. If he thinks he is too good for leigh he is sorely mistaken,

Strange of him to refuse as he will likely be frozen out of the team here.
