The rumours circulating around Warrington a couple of months ago, was Chris would be joining us. Now with pre-season under way and him still being at Leigh (I assume), I guess it was a nothing rumour, despite it coming from various sources.

With a young family to support, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Wire offered a lower contract than what he'd earn if staying at Leigh and still having a full-time job as well.

What job does he have as a matter of interest ??

Would certainly imagine he on one of our better contracts (although that may be nothing to brag about)

He works at Body Image if memory serves me right, I'm sure Ian C will be on soon enough to verify in his position as official "Hilly stalker".

Glad we've kept Hilly. He's consistently been one of the best players at the club (and in the division!!) for years.

I would say mate Matt not stalker, yes he does work at our gym, and he wasn't offered any contract off Wire, as i said to him if he had and gone we all would have wished him well.

Hilly was offered 3 SL contracts but they could not match Leighs offer. He his the present and future of our club
