Not looked forward to a new season of RL so little since I started watching in 96. Not just Wire-sided but generally. Anyone else feeling the same?

Kind of, I’ve heard many using the word sanatised and I kinda think it has gone that way. The biff as all but gone and the game as become predictable 5 drives and a kick. Yes times change I get that but it was more exciting before it’s become what it is now, sorry if that’s to gloomy but it is what it is.

Wire wise I ended up with a season ticket against my will haha, never been this disinterested in a new season ever...

Rugby wise I'm still looking forward to watching some quality rugby on TV

And now Widdop is injured and looks likely to miss the first 3 games it's not looking any better. But i think we'll see the best out of BMM and Currie which will lift the team and Clark is always awesome. Austin is 100% fit and raring to go so i'm actually excited for this year, i wasn't at first but i am now

I'm usually suffering from withdrawal symptoms at this time of the year, chomping at the bit...but this year, sadly nothing.

I miss biff and attacking flair I must say. But I'll watch our games on Sky and go to the big derbies etc as usual. RL doesn't owe me anything, nor me it.

We were always satisfied when we won the fight. Even if we got nothing for it on the scoreboard.

Season needs to be shorter - aligning with the NRL. We’d all be very ready for some rugby in March. Rather than freezing January when the internationals went on til November.

Playing a certain team 6 times a season does sod all for me its boring..and I agree with the previous poster about starting in march...

At least we can look forwards to the overall match day package, the wire flyer, Wolfie, winding up Hull on twitter.
