GOB is playing average in an average team. When he played during 2012/13 he was a very good prospect behind a great team.

That is exactly right, we desperately need a good prop. The Anthony England experiment is over as far as I am concerned. He was contracted until 2016 back in 2014, so I am hoping that is a 1yr plus 1 yr club option. He is far too slow and for 114 Kg and 6' 5'' seems unable to make full use of his bulk. Pity, but time to draw a line under it. Trouble is, I suspect TS is not looking for one. Even if he was, it took him 2 years to find a HB.

I get the feeling that Moran is fed up signing 2nd rate players and has beens , though we'll have to see how Gidley works out ,a few newcastle fans seem glad to see the back of him ,quite a few players days are numbered
