That's why I posed it. I randomly remembered the ramblings at the time being similar to Koukash's (good memory me). Also the "world record fee" guff. Cant remember the final fee we got for Harris but it was sod all like £1.3m maybe 10% of that, if that.

Funny that Leeds were interested in Penny. They really were on their ass at the start of Super League I. I think they finished just above bottom.
I still remember our victory against them in Rnd1. My first away game. 22-18. Mateaki Mafi scored the winning try.

True, we finished 10th out of 12 with only PSG (who failed to pick up a single point away from home) and Workington who shipped in over a 1,000 points finishing below us. |
