Afternoon everyone.

Just noticed this thursday that they announce who is joining super league on the next franchise.

I think they release who is oging down on a later date, but is anyone nervous about is getting a new franchise?

me personally no, we have made so much improvement on and off the field since the first set of franchises it would be hard to say no.

who are you expecting to go down?

again, imo wakefield. sad to say it but I look at wakefield and think if it wasn't for wilky and the backroom staff trying so hard that could of been us!

No chance of it being us.I dont think past performances on the field count for diddly squat with the powers that be.They are only interested in the future,and that means brand new stadiums and spreading the game to a wider audience.We are well on the way to having a great setup.

If it weren't for JW and the board, look to Oldham, Whithaven even Swinton that would have been us

We are very fortunate we have a board of directors who have shouldered the expense for so long, hopefully this is the start of something big and the financial strain will not be so heavy in the future

Is it not both up to the board to sort that though? At Salford you do seem to have good commuted owners but like Widnes in the past a lot of problems brought onto the club was through their mismangement also?

How will the new stadium work? If now council built will that lead to paying rent and missing out on bar takings? (again same as us). Was money saved from the council taking over to be spent elsewhere or did it never exist?

Just general interest btw as thing you'll becsafe as stadium pushing ahead and likely with it a final play at the location card? Just interesting owed to BOD when could also cause problems.

Does anyone think any team other than Widnes arecoming up??

i too think it will be widnes but dont you think it would make sense to have barrow? Spreading superleague to cumbria?

I feel a lot better now about it now than I did at the beginning of the season. With work on the new stadium well under way and given the problems that Wakefield have faced, I can't see anything other than us being given another 3 years.

imo I dont think widnes deserve to go up!
the reason being "this" club is only 3 years old after going into administration. All the widnes fans are going on about history, tradition. That died when they went to the wall. This is a new club so therefore should be treated as such!!

Me personally wouldn't mind seeing barrow in, think super league is crying out for a cumbrian team, but barrow just haven't got the finance to do it!
