So, it appears that no complaint was made by a player, nor was it included on the Ref's match report. It seems the incident is being investigated after pressure from Social media.

The premise as it was set was that Hardaker hasnt made a homophobic comment. I think it's appropriate for the RFL to investigate an incident of this nature that caused controversy amongst RL supporters. The RFL have to be seen to be proactive towards this behaviour, even if there are no charges brought because the evidence is inconclusive.

I personally believe that he blew a kiss at the Saints player and called him a "puff." So he should get banned for longer than last time.
