If those injuries are as a result of the punches thrown by the steward, that's a custodial sentence. The Warrington club could also be in trouble as it happened on their premises.

Disgusting behaviour from a person tasked with fans safety and welfare..Hope he does get sent down.
Warrington are a decent club and a well run club but this one bad apple will leave a bad taste in everyones mouths.They dont deserve the criticism that will more than likely come their way.

If there is a police investigation into the alleged assault then the silence by Warrington is entirely appropriate.
Remember there are two sides to most 'stories' like this, the papers yet again dramatise it and portray an attack on an 'innocent' victim. That may be the case he may of left the steward with no option, that's for a court of law to decide.
