For all the tales of woe re finances and dropping crowds I have to say that for two weeks in a row I have watched SL games that were outstanding entertainment.

Last week I thoroughly the game between hkr and hudds and today I watched the cas v hfc game. Both were fast, free flowing, plenty of skill, great tries and played in stadiums with great atmospheres. Both had outstanding young english talent on show. If only the people running them game were as talented as the people playing it!

I agree. It seems RL fans are insecure and want every game to be decided by less than two points in order for the competition to be a success. Yet how many one sided games are there in soccer and Union?

Bang on JB, that Cas second half was as good as anything you'll see for entertainment, should be another belter tonight too.

The sheer nature of RL is such that there will always be one sided games. It's an unforgiving sport.

Another belter tonight between Wigan and Warrington. I've said all year the quality of the games I've seen have been excellent.

that was the kind of big game and intensity that we need to play at to have a chance against the aussies - not every NRL game is like that one, but a lot of them are. wouldn't complain if these two meet in the grand final

Shame we only have about 5 games like that in a season.

The Cas v Hull game was relatively poor quality, especially when compared to that tonight, but we sometimes get carried away at decrying RL over here. As long as there are top quality, entertaining games between 2 top teams like Warrington v Wigan tonight then it doesn't matter that games lower down the league aren't of a high quality. The entertainment more than makes up for that.
