| Why has the person who ultimately got us into the mess that Messers Hood & Duckett have got us out of, suddenly decided to crawl out from under the stone he lives under to start throwing mud about?
Where was Mr Caisley when we were struggling?
Where was Mr Caisley when he was representing Sam's move away from the Club that he is he biggest shareholder in?
Where is the plan that he has to save the club?
What assurances has Mr Caisley given to assure us hat he WON'T take us into Admin?
I don't know the ins & outs, but from the outside,I feel at best Mr Caisley is being a little bit naughty. At worst he is merely protecting his personal interests as he has done over this last few weeks and years
I am no Hood fan, but I think (from the outside) if we truly knew what had gone on, what a mess was inherited from Mr Caisley, we would be praising the work that Hood had done, rather than berating him!
*awaits grief*

| Why can't Chris Caisley work WITH BoD for the benefit of the CLUB?
May seem a daft question until I read:
"Chris is a senior dispute resolution partner"

| Because he hasn't chosen to work with the current BoD since he departed!! He was responsible for the mess we are in AND he helps to facilitate one of our best ever prospects away from the club!!,

Agree, that's why "his job" and "his position in regard to the Club" are to say the least conflicting (I would have said funny but no fun in this)

| Well, as I've said previously, I was told a story back in 2006 that Caisley knew the Harris case was unwinnable and that the club was heading to the point we are now, ie on the verge of collapse, much sooner than it's actually happened. So Caisley's plan was to let the club go into administration, and have a pre-pack deal to buy it back sans debts.
However, he seems to have been frustrated by the fact the BoD managed to make a decent fist of matters in terms of money being hemoraged out of the club, which seems to have been tantamount to bailing out the Titanic with teacups.
His calls for the current BoD to resign are most likely and attempt to be a populist following what a lot of the numpties on the T&A site post on every story.
But the fact remains, Caisley was a chief architect for our current plight and he threw us to the wolves and has now thrown a tantrum because we've not yet been eaten.

Maybe so but I don't know how Peter Hood can sleep at night either with his son Liam playing for the Rhinos

There are a lot of us that totally agree with you, what we fear is Caisley getting hold of the Club we all love and support, it will be straight into admin with no guarantee's that the RFL will allow the SL licence to fall into the hands of a pre pack of someone they may not find is a 'proper' person to take charge, a lot of risks there.
As for Messrs Duckett, Bennett and Hood, they have been trying to repair damage done and have been battling to keep the Bulls afloat, it just troubles me that these are the people who seem to be getting all the flack from some fans. If they could tell us more I'm sure they would but until things are signed on the dotted line and they can release the information we just have to be patient as hard as that is sometimes.
Lets hope for something positive to come out over the next week or two.
The Bradford Bulls is not just a Rugby League Club, for many of us it's a way of life.

Totally agree, to be honest Caisley is just like many bullies I know, if they don't get what they want they throw a strop and not everything they say is fact.

| There's no doubt that the club started the decline under CC's stewardship and, as such, even if he only had the one vote on the board, he is responsible for much of the predicament the club found itself in when he left.
I don't believe he is the devil incarnate though; he was misguided and some awful decisions were made under his leadership, not least the winding down of the junior set up, Harrisgate and the unsustainable spending which went on at the time. Though, and not for the first time, I'll hold my hand up and accept that I was one of those cheering from the rafters every time his unaffordable teams won a trophy.
We do have to accept where we are though, and Chris is our largest shareholder, so no matter what people's views might be he [iwill[/i be a part of the endgame in some capacity. My biggest hope is that he will have a positive role to play.
