Is the fine from the RFL for not fielding a team in a match?

Just wondered if it's viable for the 11000 season ticket holders to foot the bill for it the next time the RFL choose Ganson to ref one of our matches?

I've never said this before and i don't expect to say it again but I thought Ganson did a good job today

Do referees ever own up when they are wrong and say sorry? I know in my job I make mistakes, as I suspect do most people, but I will put my hand up and apologise when I have.

After one of his numerous wrong calls against the Bulls - Millennium Tragic when he allowed the Tansey "try" without going to the screen, having listened illegally to the Aussie twerp in his ear telling him wrongly to award a penalty against us seconds before.

Yes they probably do when Cummings pulls them in on the Tuesday morning at Leeds Met University. Only thing is they probably laugh about it afterwards and then look forward next week. As they are clearly free from any sort of responsiblities in their job.

If you had an important engagement and you failed to turn up for work because you were arrested the night before after hitting the booze how would that go down at work? Even if crminal charges were never involved.

The problem with the refs in SL is that there only, I think, eight of them.

Given that there are seven games every weekend they are going to get a game whether they were useless the week before or not.

In an ideal world, there would be ten or even twelve SL quality referees. Then the ones that had a bad game could be .... uhm.... 'rested' the next week. That would focus the mind a bit.....

I thought he had a good game tbh, he was tough with Wigan about holding down - they got pinged 4-5 times for it and I think that really messed up their game plan and was the reason in the end for the sinbinning.

I didn't think he did too badly. Disappointed that none of the officials spotted the blatant forward pass for Richards try though.

same could be said for the ah van try where he reached about three yard forward to catch it or his other try where he grounded the ball short !!!!! but thats rugby league eh....it tends to balance out !!!
