I for one hope the proper Rovers turn up this week, blowing hot and cold to say the least!!!!!!

Depending on this weeks events, it could be a great time to play us.

Why?

Was the Challenge Cup game at Dewsbury the last game in charge of the Bradford Bulls for Steve McNamara?

He's going to be confirmed as the new England coach on Wednesday and the RFL and McNamara both want to start in a full time rule, rather than wait for his contract to run out in November.

I expect he will stay with us until the end of his current deal (November) unless a settlement can be reached with the RFL that suits us better then Steve McNamara just leaving us to take up his new role as England head coach.

The board have a duty to do their best for the club so I would expect a veto to any suggestion of his appointment being on a full time basis.

It's funny because at the Dewsbury game yesterday I said to my friend that all the Bulls fans who have been wanting McNamara out from day one, may just get their wish.

The thought of a Brian McDermott and James Lowes dual coaching role that Iwas told is being lined makes me shudder with anger.

The thought of the unproven Aussie also makes me shudder when after four harsh years of financial constraints, McNamara has finally built a side that can challenge for the silver.

I seriously hope that he stays with us until November to see his contract out, taking on the England job part time.

On to Sundays game and I feel it'll be as close as the table reflects both sides.

Bradford 24-22 Hull KR with the second 10,000 gate of the season.

Glad I've got a season ticket therefore guaranteed entry. When KR bring their usual 27 million fans, you'll have to be early to pay on the gate!

Hope we can beat them, plus a Saints win = 4 points ahead of Leeds...

This is exactly the sort of posts that Leeds fans must love. It just highlights the obsession and insecurity that some people have.

I hate Leeds so much I don't consider their fans capable of love.

Yeah and no. Looking where your local rivals are on the league ladder relative to your team is surely part of the fun of following a side, especially if they're lower.

I think it is very important to stay above your rivals, for local bragging rights! No harm in enjoying the fact that we currently have the upper hand IMO.
