Just said on the RL Podcast that he's been allowdd to talk to other clubs. It's a hard one with Morrison, would he be worth the risk with another contract?

Plus his Blog hasn't been put on this week so there may be some truth?

He has had too many injuries for me. A great player and leader when fit, but we can't afford to have our leaders not on the paddock at the moment.

He won't be on peanuts either so again, we free up some cash and a quota space.

Burgess buggering off to the NRL in a swap deal will gather more pace.

I just hope we don't replace him with some random Cas/Wakey/Hudds reject.

He's one of our best players when he's on the field, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be very often these last 2 seasons. I wouldn't be suprised if this was Morrisons last season at the club.

Rat isn't the first word that springs to mind when I think of Morrison.

Yes, he's injury prone but, they're not recurrances of the same injury rather a whole raft of seperate injuries, an unlucky player who throws himself int tackles 110%. Worth a punt on another year IMO

Although he has had his fair share of injuries whilst with us I still feel he might be worth another gamble on a 12 month deal. We could be looking at Solomona, Morrison, Newton and Cook all leaving our pack. So far we have only added Hall.

So we give Sykes an extension and let Morro go. Go figure.

I don't think thats fair really if the club are telling him to speak to other clubs. He probably wants to stay.

Different positions though. I'm not worried about players leaving as at the moment something needs to change. It just depends on which players are coming in.
