| What a depressing read.
It may be true but for me articals of that nature are counter productive.

dave cravens a rhinos fan and reading between the lines you can sense the glee hes feeling add to that article the full page spread t&a did a couple of weeks back about what a great idea a ground share at vp would be ( all from a city perspective with no input from bulls side) and you sart to suspect an agenda at t&a

| To me, that article says that the fans should be doing something about improving the atmosphere, getting behind the team and having fun.

| Disgraceful.
Why don't our local press stick their fingers in their ears while singing "la la la la la"?
Everyone knows you should always pretend everything is alright, as that is always the way to make things better.

Not much insight there though, was there?

Maybe not, but he's set out plenty of the problems, maybe it will act as a spur to the club and they can respond.
People can't complain about apathy and then again when someone points out some of the problems, it would be a lot worse if the local press stood idly by without comment (like they do with the state of the city and Bradford Council).

Actually I think it comes across as more like "WTF is happening? Get your act together"
But it's nothing that we, the fans, have been saying for the last 3 years.
Yes the OSV would breathe new life into the club, but this seems to be just more pie in the sky planning. What is needed is agressive marketting. Remind people the Bulls are there, slash the ticket prices or offer deals to try and encourage fans back through the gates. Hell, let's have a quick whip round on here, say 10p a person and we'll go buy the club a copy of Marketting for Dummies.

| This sort of statement sums up the problem with the article...
Quote The Bulls need positive results to start dragging themselves back up the Super League table, dragging some fans back to the terraces in the process, otherwise, Odsal will end up like a ghost town.'"
What, like beating Leeds and Saints? If the article is to be worthwhile, maybe it should reference the failure of these wins, eye-catching as they were, to signficantly boost the gate at the next home game. The whole article is a bit of a humdrum run-through of the bleeding obvious, isn't it?
Quote slash the ticket prices'"
Can we afford to do this? I suspect not. I see that City's much lauded cheap season ticket scheme still resulted in their chairman having to pump £1m of his own money into the club.

| Oh, and I am pretty sure Dave Craven would be happy to see Bulls turn this round and even stuff Leeds in the Grand Final. More people would be reading his copy for a start.

| It is very depressing this. It is reminiscent of the dark days in the Sixties isn't it?
I was not there obviously, im far too young, (:winkicon_smile.gifbut having just read Trevor's biography - it all sound far too familiar:
Club has had several years of success and great crowds.
Big name players leave club to be replaced by not quite so good players.
Results on the pitch get worse.
Fans stop coming so attendances dwindle.
Less income=less money for player recruitment.
Results get worse, attendance dwindle.
And so on.
This scenario is applicable now really.
