I have heard a little whisper that Tom Armstrong may be back in a Saint's shirt before long, anyone else heard anything? He would be a decent replacement for Josh Jones and even do a better job on the wing than Swift.

He'll probably be at 1 for the rest of the season.

I heard for next season

Under contract with Leigh next season. However name dropped by Koukash as being an option for them for next season, so perhaps has some clauses in there somewhere.

There is still some talk about him not wanting to play full time due to potential work he could get in the emirates?

I was under the impression that he's full time at Leigh.

He didn't want to play full time whilst he was in education, wasn't it? If so, I imagine now he has completed his studies he will be full time.

Very similar scenario to Swifty, think he got his HND (Engineering) qualifications before going full time,
Can,t remember what Tom played like, what was his best position.

He played on the wing for us, but centre is his preferred position. Good solid player.

I can't remember him much, seemed a very average player.

He did a Masters degree in petroleum engineering, that's a huge difference to a HND. It may be that committing full time to Rugby League would lose him money due to the earning potential in his field, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

He looked really good for Leigh in the Challenge Cup games. He's certainly got some pace & good hands.

Would people say he is better than Dean of Widnes and is he a better option than giving more games to Fleming.
