Good to get a game back on, on Thursdays. Enjoyed watching Championship games in my local.

And therein lies the problem.

Crap,if sky say jump weve gota ask how high.

The only problem is that I attend Saints games and would otherwise miss other games featuring other clubs bar my own.

This gives me an opportunity to watch more RL on TV which can only be a good thing.

I wonder why Sky has done this? The Championship matches are televised on Premier Sports on a Thursday night so either Premier or Sky will possibly see their numbers drop as a result of this move. I certainly don't intend not watching the Championship matches just because Sky decide they want to move the SL matches.

I'd rather they didn't but as Don says, Sky decide when games are played.

If you don't think it's a problem then press text on Sky Sports channels and see how far we are down the pecking order.

Can you blame them? Super League as a product is appalling these days. We used to put on a great show, the majority of games used to be amazing to watch. Now, with the speed of the ruck slowed right down, and the horrendously low standard of ALL the teams, the product itself isn't worth watching anymore.

I'm guessing that it's more to do with there being less of a problem making sure that grounds are available come playoff time.

For instance it must be easier to make sure the DW and the KC are available on a Thursday should eith Wigan athletic and or Hull City are at home that weekend?

Just a thought.

Also, I think it might be a good thing. There's less sport for us to compete with on a Thursday . I had a quick look at Sky's Premiership games last week and noticed they seem to have more Saturday tea time games now.

I really struggle to enjoy SKY coverage these days. I understand Hemmings thinks fans should be seen and not heard but surely they must understand they are killing the product. In general RL fans enjoy a pint or three and these days it is hard to mix that with work on a Tuesday or Friday. The big hit could be in season ticket renewals.

Is this actually true? Is there a link to a press release confirming this?
