He has got to be better than anything we have at present (hopefully).

He's got a very good kicking game but you'll need a running 6 to play with him.

Excellent signing , could form a more than useful partnership with Lomax .

Very happy with this signing - contract length as well.

But lets not give up this season yet.

Its the first time in living memory that Dave nosey Parkers called one early.

I think most of us would say we'd be happy with him playing alongside Wheeler (or Swift when he's injured), who are both good runners. The problem with that is if Walsh gets injured, we're screwed back to where we are now (unless Yates comes up with something, but it would still be leaving us with a very inexperienced pairing).
I'm afraid we need a signing for 6, even if its someone like Briers for a year to oversee the younsters coming through.

We do need another signing. I wouldn't trust Gary Wheeler to pass me the remote without getting injured, nevermind banking a starting position on him. I'd be amazed if he's still at Saints next season.

Good positive signing far better than the Matty Smith or Dobson panic button type job. It is always a risk bringing over a player ala tricky Trindell but I am made up with this. Regards Gary Wheeler you are so so wrong saddened he hurtled past me yesterday.
