I never saw in him what some other fans did. That said I hope he makes me eat my words and eventually gets a gig in SL. Won't be at Leeds though.

I can see him getting a SL gig next year for one of the Yorkshire sides. This is the last year of his Leeds contract. Good luck to him, he has some class but he needs a consistent run.

Had he not decided to step away from the pro game for the best part of 2 years, he may well have been Leeds' first choice 9 by now, but he'll struggle to be a starting SL 9 in the long-term, I think. I hope I'm wrong though.

He’s an interesting case. He is a very balanced player but maybe lacks one stand-out attribute. Injuries haven’t helped him early career either but he looks in better physical condition now.

The fact that it's a loan gives him hope for a future at Leeds.
Full year playing in the Championship could do him good.
He needs regular uniterrupted game time in his natural position.

Maybe but he’s out of contract after this year and Ackers is bedded in with O’Connor and others behind him. I can’t see Leeds standing in the way if another club comes in for him.

He either has a brilliant stand out year at Bradford and has a good chance of coming back, or he just goes ok in which case he will move on.

O’Connor would need to be moved to back row again if we retain Johnson.

Agreed. If he has a killer season, then he comes back ahead of O'Connor, however, if he has an average one, then he is gone.

I know he has had limited game time, however, he has never come on to the pitch and done anything to standout. It's a shame based on how he had been built up.
