Cautious thumbs up from me. Won't go down well with some but I reckon he's done ok in a team that's played some of the poorest rugby I can remember.

Deserves an improved deal will not have been on much money for a full time pro athlete.

I'm pleased for him and think it's a good signing. He's been a usefull addition to the squad although I do question slightly a 4 year deal after the Golden and others experience, would of thought 3 would of been better for us

He wouldn't have had 100 apps at this stage of his career in the Sinfield era squad ,but considering how we have declined a new deal fair enough, although 4 years ?

He deserved an extension for his commitment and effort this year. I hope 4 years is not too much; he's still got lots to prove, time to develop, and will no doubt be pushing for an England call up, but he still has some way to go IMO.

I'm not sure about 4 years but he seems to have matured a lot as a person as well as a player, he seems to speak with a lot more knowledge and authority when in interviews, when he first came on the scene and I mean this with the greatest respect he always sounded a bit dim, but that was obviously lack of experience and confidence, so fair play to the lad

Not sure about 4 years but he definitely deserves a new contract. He’s been one of our best players this season. He’s near the top of the try scoring charts despite playing for a poop team. I know his defence has been criticised, but hasn’t he had to cover for his centre? And he’s pretty quick too-there’s not many others in our team.

Pleased for the kid, he deserves a new deal, but like others I think 4 years might be a bit long.

He’s not Ryan Hall, but he’s no Joe Vickery either. He will improve and already knows his way to the line.

Used to be good for at least 2/3 knock ons a game, hands like cows t1ts.

The new deal will include exemptions for being part of the England Knights performance squad so happy days.
