Been talk of potential signings, but given that most of our squad is under contract for next year, who do we think might be shown the door early?

For me, I can think only of Richard Moore. The guy's 32, doesn't command a role in the squad and with Singleton's emergence probably never will.

On top of that, McShane & Jones-Bishop seem likely to go if we are signing Briscoe & Aiton, as rumour seems to suggest.

Briscoe has been confirmed on bbc , I don't want to start the left side right side argument again but he does play left same as hall.

A lot of people think Briscoe is a better winger on the right.Fantastic signing for you guys but not so good for BJB.He is too good a player not to have a starting spot and cannot see him staying at Leeds now.

TBF, I think Hall's a better winger on the right too so whichever way that goes we should be stronger. If I was a winger I'd be happier playing outside Watkins than I would outside Moon too who IMO, is the reason for Hall's "drop in form" that a lot of people like to talk about.

Moon hasn't helped but for me Hall's seemed jaded at times. Not that unusual TBH - there ain't many players that don't slip a notch or two at some point or another.

Put Hall outside Watkins and you will have the exact same effect.

Blaming his centre is just looking for excuses. The fact that Hall is quite clearly the best finisher in the world, doesn't make him the best in other areas. His rugby brain is lacking, and he can not keep up with the play around him mentally, so tends to put himself yardage ahead at times.

I would still have Hall above many others, but that doesn't mean to say he is perfect in all areas, because he isn't.

Had Briscoe been outside Moon this year, you would have seen the difference in the try return.

I think Hall's rugby brain is partly what puts himself ahead of other wingers.

Hall's definitely sacrificed some leg speed for upper body strength - similar to Atkins at Wire - none the worse for it once he realises he can now steamroller defenders rather than run around them.

Afraid Moore's choices my be limited (Wakey, Cas perhaps) but can't see BJB having to sit by the 'phone for long if he decides to leave Leeds ...... the ability (and brain!) to play at wing/centre/FB hasn't gone unnoticed by other coaches.

We have rarely had a full back line available this year. Bush out for months, Watkins hardacre moon all had layoffs for weeks on end. With briscoe added to back line should be no need to move any of the pack or halves into the back line.

All wingers need to be scoring trys, I wouldn't say Hall's form has been overly down this year. But seems to lacked some of his former confidence.

Moon has helped himself to a good try return for a centre whereas others may have used the wing option. So our combined try total (of winger and centre) is probably about right.

One thing Hall has developed this year is an off-load and neat pass, so shows his development is far from over.

The problem with that is that someone has to be the versitile player. Its good to have flexibility which doesn't weaken another part of the team, but realistically, it will be BJB who moves around to cover everyone else. He's the new Lee Smith (without the 38 inch waist)
