| have a tv from argos that could get freeview if the aerial from argos would supply it. Does anyone know a better indoor aerial or recommend anyone for fitting an extension from the outdoor aerial?

| could be vague if you wish hard to be more specific.....
A small flat screen t.v received as a gift bought at argos alongwith with an argos indoor aerial will not tune in to the freeview channels via the indoor aerial.
Can anyone recommend an indoor aerial it will obtain the freeview channels from.
So far had one @ comet recommended but must have booster included.
If no indoor aerial will work how much is it likely to cost to get the outdoor aerial linked up

| Depends where indoors the tv is. I did mine myself for about a tenner, for a "T" piece, some co-axial cable. Just conneted it up and drilled through wall to feed cable through. Just make sure you've got someone to "foot" your ladder in this snow!

| Also depends where you are. I'm up near Guiseley and can't receive freeview or channel 5 through an aerial outdoors/indoors. I've been told this is due to the Wharfedale transmitter not been very good.

| I read somewhere that all a booster does is amplify crap reception,ie stronger crap reception. I'm lucky where I am close to the city centre, I get a good pic from a set top aerial with my freeview box, but in the bedroom you have to do the wave it about in the air thing to get anything. When I was in the meanwood valley it was terrible,I got round it by nipping up to menwith hill and nicking one of them big white things and putting it on the chimley. I think it passed off as a sky dish cos no-one said owt.

| If you watched The Royle Family Christmas Special then you'd know that the only way to get a decent signal from an indoors aerial is to open the skylight and stand up through it, holding the aerial at a fixed angle.
Seriously I'd be surprised if anyone could get a signal off an internal aerial that will get you the freeview channels, if you can then you're probably in a place that could get a signal off a wet piece of string.
