I wouldnt take either. Bob played well for us but he is now several years older and I think there is younger talent out there that will want to play under RM. Barlow, no, wrong attitude and we have a great pack already and with the signing of Grix I really don't see Barlow fitting with a set of well disciplined forwards and the clubs new work ethic.

Fair points.Don't want either of our hookers to leave and with more budget 3 hookers isn't overkill and they are all different types.our pack is very good,but is lacking in offloads/tackle busts IMO.

Charlie and I have been saying for a few weeks now that Sam is returning home.
My opinion is based on a chat I had Sam, don't know where Ian heard it.
We may be wrong, lets wait and see whether Charlie and I know nowt.
Would welcome them back with open arms.

Two very good points in my very humble opinion.

I agree with the comment on Barlow, I think he has a bad attitude and despite RM being able to coach it out of him, I think he'd be a misfit who carries too much previous baggage. Beswick is a good championship hooker and would add value to our squad. He has different attributes to Ben and Ryan who have both played injured this season. As another post said, I too want both our hookers to stay as I think they will both be better next season.

I wouldnt take either and dont really expect RM to either. Both will want more money than a lot of our players are on and im not sure they offer value for money compared to what we have. I know Sam has been trying to come back for most of the season but he wouldnt be a popular choice with our players. No big time charlies at our place just good honest players who turn up week in week out.

Mind you I did have a quick chat with Ken Roberts this morning, he didn't say anything about coming back, as a player.

GFB I absolutely agree with you. It is obvious that our squad are very tight with each other and they show that they are happy to play for their 'mates' and do the tough stuff without any issues. That sort of spirit cannot be bought but is easy broken with the addition of the wrong type of person. Personally that's why I hope that Gareth Moore rumours aren't true as he appears to have past form at many other clubs. Good player no doubt but at Fax you need to be a good player on and off the pitch.
