Great date for this years trip to Toulouse, as you can see we have pre reserved a good 3 star hotel with pool and bar in Toulouse centre.

The flights from leeds/bradford on Jet2 are showing pretty reasonable at the moment.
I couldnt make the fixture last year, so I would appreciate any suggestions / reccomendations on where to stay?

We are just doing two nights. I think if you go Jet2 you've got to do a week this time as they've dropped the Wednesday flight? We are BMIBaby from Manchester into Toulouse and the the city centre Ibis. The flight was £140 and the hotel was €100 per room per night,
That makes Mr Catalans trip sound quite attractive for another night and a bit of the hassle taken out of it. I've not heard anything about a club trip yet but I think that was about £360 last year and was a door-to-door trip with the players and coaching staff? |

Thats fine, I am thinking of making a week of it, with it being August. I just needed some advice on good / reasonable places to stay. |

If you're going for the week I'd stay on the coast and get the train to Toulouse for the game. There wouldn't be enough to do in Toulouse for a week and with the August weather you might as well get your speedo's on and have a holiday!
If you stay on the coast it also opens your flight options up to include Carcassonne and Perpignon.....even Girona or Mille.
When we played PSG in Narbonne years ago, we stayed at a place called Valras Plage. Nice seaside resort with bars, restaraunts and a good beech. There was also a really good water park nearby if you've got kids.

Be careful with the Leeds flight this year. Any bad delay and you could miss the game it goes a little later this year and you know what French air traffic control can be like in the summer. We got the flight last year and it's not ideal flying on the day of the game.
We went for the Friday flight from Manchester this time and coming back on the Wednesday so gives you 5 good days in Toulouse. We have booked the hotel mentioned on this thread the Novotel. The players stayed there last year and we got a no refundable deal of £391 it total for 5 nights for the 3 of us. Flights were about £140n each so it has cost us about £270 each for 5 nights.

Cougars have them 20th March.
The week before Ryanair start flying to Carcassonne fron Yeadon.
BMI don't fly there that time of year from Manchester.
Only low cost flights are out of Liverpool and East Midlands and they were only going twice a week.
I know a few fans who are driving to Gatwick through the night to fly out the day of the game.
Myself, I'm going from Manchester via Amsterdam with KLM and stopping in Ibis for 2 nights costing about £260.

It's probably as quick (if not quicker) to drive to Liverpool Airport than Manchetser Airport believe it or not so it's really worth considering. That's where we flew from last year and have done a few times. |

I did look, I think the flight in was the morning of the game and then there was nothing going back until Wednesday.
What we saved on flights we were going to pay extra (and some) on hotels and parking. |
