Looking out of my window I was expecting to see fireworks, bonfires and street parties. Everybody must be waiting for the weekend.

Good riddance to the man (?)!!!! Perhaps his successor will be a real socialist, and bring some pride back to this once great city.

Our City has suffered immense damage at the hands of the man. Good Riddance !!!

I only hope that he is not replaced by another clown who thinks the world starts and ends in Castleford.
However looking at all the other labour councillors, many don't give a …. about Wakefield and probably only come to the City to attend their compulsory meetings and collect their expenses. I really hope they have someone amongst their ranks with intelligence, honesty and integrity to help reverse the declines our City has suffered under the leadership of Box.

It's not right to be cynical but, usually the deputy leader takes over or one that the Labour party & unions pick with the politics they like, so, there are far more Cas councilors than wakey councilors !!!!
But ever the optimist in me hopes we get a local wakey person with good fair balance & lifts the city, we have had enough of Cas first !
Box was massively disingenuine to the point of our & out lies, pressure was building. Only my opinion of course, you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.
