| Must want a new coach in early to retain/assemble his own squad for next season,it's been disappointing for them. I would expect the Dons to add to their woes

No sympathy for him. Him and a couple of mates gave sarky unnecessary comments to me in Christchurch NZ during the tri nations a few years ago walking down the street just before the game.No need for it and not been a fan of his since.

| How has cowling been performing for you?
I rate him when I've seen him.
Lucas Walshaw is a monster and will more than serve you well. Massive lad and one of wakefields future first team homegrown.
As a side note its good that we are making good use of dual Reg with yourselves. Mutually beneficial for both clubs.

| Match Preview
Doncaster Rugby League Club is once again on the road this weekend and face Oldham Roughyeds in the Co-operative Championship One competition at their Whitebank Stadium (3pm kick-off).
The Dons will be hoping to return to winning ways after their disappointing 25-18 defeat at fourth placed Whitehaven last Sunday. The defeat virtually ending their title hopes but with league leaders Barrow at Workington this weekend, the race for second place is wide open.
Dons’ head coach Tony Miller looks set to include Grant Edwards in his 17 and the club’s new dual registration Lucas Walshaw is in line to make his debut for the blue and gold’s. The 20 year-old 6’ 5” Wakefield prospect can play in the second row or at centre and has played a number of Super League games.
Prop forward Dean O’Loughlin will face a late fitness test and centre Danny Cowling, another Wakefield dual registration, has been recalled by the Wildcats for their Super League game against St Helens.
Miller said: “Last week was obviously disappointing at Whitehaven as we bombed quite a few chances in the first half an hour so we need to be more clinical in the run in.
“It’s important we bounce back against Oldham and I’m confident the boys will do just that and keep the pressure on Barrow who face Workington this weekend.
“There’s only three games left of the regular season so I want us to take some momentum into the forthcoming play-offs.
“There’s still a lot of rugby league to be played this season - we want to go as far as we can and give the Dons’ loyal fans and supporters the success they deserve.”
Oldham caretaker coach Martin Roden has said he will not pick himself for the fixture and will be concentrating all his energies on his new role as head coach.
Roden, 32, will take charge of Oldham’s last three league fixtures against Doncaster, Workington and Gateshead following Tony Benson’s sacking, and wants to have a clearer view of the action by not being directly involved.
Roden will check on the fitness of Danny Whitmore (illness) and David Cookson (dead leg) before finalising his squad to face the Dons.
