Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I saw a few headbutts/punches towards the stewards. Was a funny sight watching the female stuards running from the south stand to diffuse the situation but overall shows the few idiots up. Anyone got any idea what started it?

Jamie Shaul scored and then threw the ball into the area the widnes fans were sat then dcored again and threw the ball again . Still no excuse like

they kept the ball after a goal kick, stewards had words and it all escalated from there

Stuff was going on well before then, female steward was constantly having to go over to the group of lads from about two minutes in.

all clubs have idiots but I havnt seen anything like that for a while!

on the other hand on the way out, a group of widnes fans especially an elder woman wished us good luck in the final, so they aren't all bad!

thought Widnes' fans did well to stay and clap for their team and even for us


On the subject of the trouble, the way the stewards restrained the bloke who was really kicking off was well below standard, I know he needed to be restrained but doing it badly is how accidents happen and could land someone in a lot of trouble

Well I am a Widnes fan and not a scouser either.I did not go the game thank god.But I think there is idiot Widnes fans who should be banned.

I'd say it was the same people who started scrapping at Wakey. Not good for the game and was a shame as the rest of widnes fans were ok.

Some of the stewards got punched and head butted by the first dick that got taken out. Then as the second dick got removed by the stewards he kicked a photographer in his back. The poor guy wasn't too happy so started taking pictures of the thugs face. Hope them pics go to the police and clubs for court/ long bans. Shame 3 or 4 idiots tried to spoil the night but hey we all have em.
