ok its no secret that 'we all hate leeds' but surly now the rivalry is at all time high in the super league era.

i sure hope it is anyway. coz we will need to find a performance of note to beat them next week. for me it will simply have to be our best effort all season.

We will need a few players back from injury to stand a chance at least.

It will be a big test of character and if the current squad have anything about them. We could have a famous win or capitulate and get bummed like we did against hudds and wigan. I reckon we'll be competitive for an hour but they'll probably have too much for us.

If we have a near full strength side out and get outclassed again then making wholesale changes in the off season is the right thing to do

With all the rumoured players wanting out will they be even @rsed to put in a performance? It could be a very long rest of the season imo but theres always next year!

the leeds club as a whole will be coming to the kc feeling pretty smug after recent events. its about time hull showed some proper blood sweat n tears underdog fight. leeds have gotten the better of us in the last 10 meetings by playing the game at their own pace, controlling where and how we receive the ball and generally out classing us. but i a big boy and i can take that on the chin... for so long! now its about time turn it into an old school bruising rugby league match. we are getting some of our big guys back, so why no?

This is bigger than the derby imo, had the wood over us recentley, hate there arrogance throughout the club, and the hetheringtons corrupt to the core, lets have some fire in the bellys

i got some raised eye brows pre season, when i said to my pals that i wanted to get one over leeds more then one over rovers this year. if you ask me the derby has become slightly diluted what with 3 or 4 competitive matches a year plus a warm up game too.

That's rubbish!! As long as Rovers are in the same division as us there are no bigger games during any season then the derby games. Our recent rivalry with Leeds only really developed because Rovers were not in Super League. Big game though I will give you that

Having so many players back at once after a long time off, will bring its problems performance wise.
A simple game plan and solid performance is the best we can hope for, but I doubt it would be enough to win this time round. Hopefully we would be far better at the business end to take the scalp.

Do you know which ones they'll be? I'd expect Seymour, Turner, Aspinwall and Horne to be back, but who are the other two? Possibly O'Meley but I thought that Yeaman would be out for longer with a broken jaw?
