Sorry ,as old as Westerman is, J C is no way good enough to take Westermans place at loseforward .J C as improved a lot is a 21 squad player .Not enough go forward or ball skills for that position Let him figh tfor a place in the second row Still young and still things to lean

Totally agree at the moment but I feel a prolong chance in the role is a good chance to see how he would go . It’s all speculation anyway .........

If it were any other player I'd dismiss it, but Westerman has a history of this.

Happily thank him for what he's done but if he wants out then that's fine by me, he is not that important even if he is talented. It seems its just the way he is and probably the reason he's never been the start so many predicted.

He's one of our senior players and one of our better players so far this season.
We already seem to be down to the bare bones in the pack, although Battye coming back will certainly help.

IF Westerman is going, I hope that we have someone coming in to replace him and not go even thinner and leaner in the squad.
It wasn't so long ago that he was being suggested as an emergency prop on the forum, a position which we aren't exactly flush with options.

Wouldn't argue but you know the rules, if a player wants to leave then let them go. Trinity more than any other club can’t have players who are not committed to the cause.

I’d be disappointed to see him go within the season. Don’t think we can afford to lose him from the pack to be honest

Tbh I want to see us get a win and westerman is probably one of our better if not the most consistent forwards so would be disappointed if true. Realistically would cas be signing someone mid season when their coach is already making his team plans in Cheshire ?
