Tbf Leigh look like a bloody good side almost certain for super league

To be fair Salford were poor and down on numbers and injuries in the game didn't help. Not 100% convinced by Leigh though.

The potential positive for us is that the further they go in the cup, the more games they will have to play, and they could potentially tire and pick up more injuries before the end of the season

Salford were in control until BJB threw that pass and Leigh capitalised and followed it up with another try.
Chasing the game, Leigh weren't going to let them off the hook, which forced Salford into panic rugby.

They are at exactly the same stage we are so not sure i see the advantage at present.

Just shows once again how tough that middle 8's are going to be, especially as i don't think Leigh played as well as they can, their completion rates were down on where they usually are. For those saying Salford were missing a few yes they were, but so was Leigh. Olly Wilkes, Sean Penkywicz and Fui Fui Moi Moi are big players for them and none were playing due to injury. They are a damn good side. Also picks a few large holes in the lower salary cap argument some love to use to justify poor performamces.

Salford were missing a number of key players, Chase and Huraki missing will have hurt, they then lost Dobson and then Sau leaving them with just 2 players to rotate including a 100 year old Morley.

Leigh were at home and still only managed to win due to a BJB blunder.

Didn't the commentator say that it was a certainty that they will finish above us in the middle 8?

He said they are a certainty to finish in the middle 8 and that on current form they would beat wakey along them lines anyway

Thoroughly entertaining game today, with an exciting brand of rugby on display (more than could be about last nights game). Even with their injuries Salford had the potential to win it.

Don't think you can judge Leigh's capability in SL on this game alone though, if both teams had fielded their strongest fittest team it would've been a better indicator.

After watching today's game I don't think any super league team will get relegated if SL teams have 90 percent of side playing they will beat Leigh or any other championship team gulf still big.
