I know a lot of people have been praising this lad over the last few weeks but I felt this was worth a mention. I sat on Sunday in front of the Warrington commentators, who were absolutely raving about his performance. All I can say is well played lad, lets get him signed on for the long haul!

I agree - there is terrific value in a no-frills forward who only knows one way to run; I'd like to see him signed up and getting a regular start.

If we haven't already signed him, it may be too late to keep him at BV, which would be a crying shame.

It would 100%, but somehow you have to think that a club like ours can't always afford to have its best players at their best.
There is an air of almost absolute certainty that if not now, in the near future, if anakin continues to impress he will be lured away.
Another (actually the main) reason we need to be paying full price for STs.

Until Newmarket is alive and kicking our players are always going to be lured away and who would blame them. Newmarket is the key for us hitting to top 8 and above every season, let's just hope we still have a 14 team super league until then. It obvious we need the extra investment and facilities to stay in the top flight, if I were an up and coming SL star, the likes of Belle Vue and Wheldon road are hardly the most inspiring places I would like to be applying my trade.

Another quote from our owner when he took over was the selling of our better players would stop, I see this as his first big challenge in that department.

Would be very very disappointed if we lost him.

Hopefully the rumours are just that, otherwise nothings changed.
