I've not seen much of Saints so far this season but in this bits I did, he looks fitter than he has done for the last season or two.

I've still not been impressed with him

Looks shot, poor discipline and still missing tackles

He's also 30 so I can see why he would be tempted with a longer contract

I'd sell him personally

We have cap space next season to potentially go for a very good replacement. 

We also have Jake Davies in the Academy/Reserves (Ben's much much better brother) and Billy Keeley coming through who looks highly promising despite still being a couple of years off at least. 

A lot will depend on whether or not Sironen stays

Probably as a wind up but a couple of others have heard similar

I can't see it but you never know

I couldn't imagine Thompson playing for Wigan either
