| Nothing yet but looked like a ligament injury - would be shocked if he plays again this year.

| So would I, he obviously had problems with his lateral movement which is never good. Hopefully, we will be proved wrong as Faz is such an integral part of the team.

| Really hope he's not done for the year - would have been in my England team.

I saw something on twitter this morning saying that he's out for six months, the poster is quite well connected.
Big blow for both Wigan and England if it's true.

| Big blow if true, not just for Wigan but for England too.
He must be the strongest pound for pound player in SL. For someone so small and light compared to other forwards he really does take some putting down. Runs great lines and has some footwork on him too.
I think you could tell by his interview with Sky after the game on Friday that he was pessimistic so this doesn't surprise me.

| Not only a great player but one of our leaders. Seeing him on the pitch increase confidence of other players.
150m and 35 odd tackles are going to be missed a lot. Plus his line break ability and support play.
Don’t know if we can win it without him

| The weak spot in the centres being covered by second rowers hurts us in trying to cover his loss. I’d rather put KPP there in that left second row but Isa at centre fills me with dread.
I’ll be honest, it isn’t ideal shuffling players around but I think we’d be strongest by putting Smithies at left second row and playing an extra prop like Ellis or Havard at 13 but I doubt we’ll go down that route.

Good call, but I'm hoping some time out of the side has lit a fire under Bibby. He's the logical option with KPP covering the other side and Isa in for Faz.
I would love to see Ellis at 13 tho. It solves the conundrum of which prop which misses out.

| Bad news for the lad, been having a good season and put in some good performances against us. Hopefully its a couple of weeks rather than a couple of months.

Yes that's the big problem this causes (in addition to the obvious blow of losing Farrell himself). KPP at left second row would be a great replacement but that would leave us a centre short (assuming Bibby comes back in). Our attack broke down on three seperate occasions on Friday when we went wide to Isa on the left - he either didn't have the skill to take the ball in under pressure or ran the wrong line.
You could move Isa to second row or risk bringing Halsall in but neither will happen. I just hope if Isa moves to centre then he'll play on the right where he's played most of his time there - no idea why Peet switched KPP to the right and moved Isa to the left on Friday.
