So in keeping with the rules, as they’ve dropped out the league when can we expect a vote not to re admit them?

From what I understand the differences are:

1) This is related to Covid infections
2) They've already completed the mandatory 15 games.

Why don't they just "postpone" the games and let the RFL/SL decide if their season is over? Then they can't be accused of not honouring their commitments and dropping out.

I guess, but that's like comparing a burglar with a murderer and saying they both committed a crime. The circumstances and, following the recent announcement, the results are far different.

How can that be allowed? Seriously how can a club (or clubs) with academy systems turn round and say “Nah we’re not playing this week. Ta very much”.

It’s embarrassing and makes our sport, once again, look amateurish. Yet another reason why RL is laughed at.

Salford weren't allowed to be fair they had to concede a 24-0 loss, and possibly a fine (not sure whether that's been commented on or not, I would have thought it would be a possibility).

They couldn't as theirs wasn't due to COVID, it was injuries.
