Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"Love how there’s a thread on the VT with bitter fans celebrating the fact we’re shifting cheap tickets for the North Stand (without them knowing it’s for the usual away end). When it’s been pointed out to them that sales are pretty good, it’s gone awfully quiet.
Funny that.'"
Absolutely
And some of our own fans are as guilty of joining in and putting the boot in on the club at every opportunity.
6 weeks ago there was threads going about how sales didn't look like they were going well, we were struggling etc. And as far as so could see there was no official evidence/report suggesting that?
Last week I pointed out that the Leeds attendance whilst not great was still as good/better than 50% of previous Leeds attendances.
If trying to be positive about something when there's no evidence to suggest I should be otherwise means I'm a happy clapper then so be it.
But some of our fans should realise that a lot of other fans slag our club off at every opportunity and don't need help in that area. And I believe that if we portray and push that perception it will affect Wigan fans and persuade them that things aren't well and all the knock on effects that brings.
Strange how positive news and messages are outweighed 5/1 by negativity go wn2 the evidence that is in front of us.
