Not impressed one bit if i'm being totally honest. You fight all season to gain home advantage and then basically throw it away. Has the defeat in the challenge cup to Hull KR not sunk in with the club yet. Lets here all the do gooders now proclaiming that its good for Wigan and the sport blah blah

I can understand local fans' irritation, but I think it's just about on balance a move by the Club worth supporting. Perhaps I *would* say that, as London is nearer to me than Wigan (but still 100 miles away), but I'll be going, and encouraging my son and his friends, who live in London, to go. Everyone knows someone who lives in London. If we all encouraged our friends to go...

As for the area, there'll be no need for riot police for a SL game.

I'm surprised the club are offering free travel as I'm sure Lenagan mentioned that wouldn't be happening a while ago.

It does state that the free travel with have 'limitations' though on the official site so it may be the first 1,000 or similar.

In terms of throwing home advantage away- If we can't beat the travel sick French in London or any other place outside of France then we can't complain (although I appreciate our away form isn't sparkling).

Agreed. We should be able to beat Catalans in England. At least it's a Saturday, so can make a weekend of it in London.


The Den not that well served by the Tube, I see (like much of South London). I'll rely on my son's local knowledge for the buses.
